Eli is a Brazilian medical student in his fourth year, married to Ju. He comes from a humble family — his father is a pastor and public-school teacher. He first graduated in Biomedicine, worked in the pharmaceutical industry, and returned to his goal of becoming a physician. He is now working toward a career in Cardiology.

Tuition is currently around R$ 10,800 per month. Over the remaining two years that is a substantial sum, which is why the family has depended on private student financing.

The goal is intended to help cover educational expenses for the final two years and to reduce the private-financing pressure that threatens Eli's ability to stay enrolled. A detailed allocation breakdown is published on the home page and will be refined as exact figures are confirmed.

Brazil's public and subsidised student-financing programs have eligibility criteria that did not give Eli and Ju a sustainable route to fund a medical degree. They relied on private financing, which carries roughly 42% annual interest, and the cost compounded every semester.

Medical school tuition, education-related financing obligations, required academic expenses, and unavoidable transaction/platform costs. Exact percentages are being finalised and will be shown transparently.

The Transparency page collects redacted proof of enrolment, tuition and financing documentation, academic records, and research participation. The Academic Journey page lists verifiable publications and projects. Monthly use-of-funds updates are published once funds arrive.
